Kimberly Johnson has been writing most of her adult life — professionally in Computer Science and Linguistics and personally about the journey of faith. Her first book, Real Struggles, Real Hope A Journey to Truth, Trust, and Freedom opened up a new chapter in her life as a writer and tells the story of hope in the midst of personal pain and struggle. In this second book, God Calls Us Daughters Extravagantly Loved, she continues to share what God is teaching her about who He is and who we are as His children.
Kim is available to speak at banquets, conferences, women’s groups, retreats, and college chapels. She can prepare specific messages upon request, or bring a message such as: ·
Who God is: His character revealed in our stories
Kim challenges us to seek to know God by studying the history of his people and remembering that what he has done in the past also reveals who he is today and believing he continues to prove his love through the quiet moments and big events of our lives.
More of God in our lives and stories
Kim renders our journey of faith like a walk with God hand in hand, how our communication and response to him opens up our understanding of what he is doing in our lives, and how this grows our trust in him.
What is the hope to which we are called?
Living life to the full is experiencing the hope of God as he has accomplished for mankind being made right with him through Jesus’ sacrifice. Kim describes our inheritance in the hope and righteousness of God and how we can apply this truth and live it daily in faith.
What does it mean to be God’s daughters and sons?
Being a daughter of God, Kim describes how we come to know our creator and Father God as the perfect guide providing perfect love as we journey in relationship with Him. She describes how believing you are who God says you are in his word will bring you to a deeper, closer walk with God, your creator and father. Kim discusses God’s desire for us as his daughters and sons to live our lives to the full, and she challenges the audience with questions that God asks of us as we seek our best life.
Living out the power of God in our lives
Kim presents descriptions of how we can live powerfully as described in His word and what she has learned in her personal walk through daily devotion and prayer.
If we knew how much God loves us really, would we live differently?
Kim talks about God’s invitation to us to go with him on a “trip of a lifetime,” an adventure that is greater than we can imagine. She discusses with the audience how we cross over the threshold of faith to “life to the full” in him.
